Job Description:

Depending on business needs, your day to day role may include:

• Developing high availability and scalable applications which will be used by both internal & external customers
• Guiding the implementation and helping the team understand the technical implications of product decisions
• Generating technical documentation as well as a unit & functional tests
• Analyzing business requirements, processes, data, & system integration points to determine & recommend appropriate technology solutions
• Working with product line leadership & other teams within the product line to plan ongoing feature development, product maintenance, & management of development strategy
• Evaluating and recommending software and hardware solutions to meet user needs
• Resolving customer issues with software solutions and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Working closely with the Product Manager and Product Designer to clarify requirements to ensure testability

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design skill or strong adherence to SOLID software design principles
• Basic knowledge of object oriented programming languages; operating systems; device drivers; databases; system, network, operating system, and application administration; embedded software/firmware; tools and utilities, as applicable.
• Able to code/debug simple programs using either written or verbal design specifications
• Undergraduate degree and 0-1 years relevant experience

Preferences:

• Understanding of one or more programming languages and different phases of applications programming leveraging the agile methodology
• Proven ability to analyze and work with business requirements, processes, data & system integration
• Competent in problem-solving, coding, testing, and troubleshooting applications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
